Asylum Process Network

The Refugee Council of Australia convenes two national teleconferences a month on asylum issues. These teleconferences are limited to members or staff or volunteers of organisational members, although discretion can be exercised as to who else may join. The Asylum Process Network also includes a mailing list where members are kept up-to-date of important policy information or opportunities for advocacy.

The Asylum Process Network plays a key role in our policy process. The Network provides a forum for information-sharing across State borders, and for raising emerging issues of concern. It is also a key forum in which we pass on information that will be useful for our members, or develop ideas for further policy or advocacy.

There are two teleconferences every month. The first, on the second Wednesday of every month, focuses on Detention and Offshore Processing. The second, on the fourth Wednesday of every month, focuses on people seeking asylum in the community.

To join the Asylum Process Network, you will need either to log in with your member password here to access the sign-in form. You can also contact us directly by email.
