The Doll

A child arrives in a new country as a refugee and a stranger gives her a doll. When the child grows older, she becomes a person who welcomes other refugees and when she begins, she passes on the doll.
Children aged 8-12 see the value of being welcoming and kindness through this book. Children can learn that such kindness multiplies throughout society from people with lived experience.
