Stepping Stones: A Refugee Family’s Journey

This is a story from the perspective of a young boy in Syria who, along with his village suddenly must leave due the developing violence. It portrays the journey of the boy’s family and depicts the nature of the refugee crisis.

It is a bi-lingual book, telling the story in English and Syrian. Children can learn about of the Syrian Refugee crisis and multi-generational experiences. Relevant subjects in this book include of geography, art, war culture, and immigration.
