Between Us

Two teenagers are separated through a barbed-wire fence. Jono, is seeking asylum in a detention centre, Kenny is on the other side of the fence. The two grow closer together through sharing their struggles with each other.
Through the narrative of Kenny trying to understand the reasons Jono is locked in detention, the reader discovers the ethical issues of detention centres. This book is written for young adults aged 12-18.
