Sally Morgan

Sally is a teacher and project officer at St Joseph’s Flexible Learning Centre in North Melbourne. She is an experienced teacher, who has worked with a large number of young peple seeking asylum over the past 4 years, as part of St Joseph’s provision of educational access to young people otherwise excluded from mainstream schooling. In 2016 Sally was a key initiator of the Asylum Seeker Pathways Project, which has made some significant progress in brokering university ‘partnership’ scholarships and in collaborating with state government and corporates to provide Supported Job Placements, again in partnership with St Joseph’s.

Sally brings a passionate advocacy approach to her work, and believes that the St Joseph’s systemic relationship and principles-based approach has lots to offer in providing a transferable and scalable practice model successful transitions from inclusive education into sustainable employment.
