Part documentary, part improvised concert, part music video – Nous sommes des messagers (We are messengers) presents a portrait of Senegalese musicians Mbemba Diebaté and Walowalo Niangbalo, and invites the audience to discover the traditional music, instruments, and culture of griots, traditional West African storytellers. Filmed in Rabat, Morocco, in September 2018.
