Grace Edward

Grace is an emerging theater practitioner from Queensland. She is currently studying her Masters in Creative Industries at the Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane. Grace has always been a passionate advocate of the creative industries particularly the performing arts sector, she has always believed that the arts are essential to culture and humanity.

Grace completed her Bachelors of Art in applied and contemporary theatre in 2014, soon after she was commissioned by the Refugee and Immigrant Legal Services (RAILS) to write and direct a domestic violence performance piece. This performance piece was used to create awareness about the occurrence of domestic violence in our communities.

Grace has always wanted to use her knowledge and passion for the arts to create awareness and conversation about the difficult issues affecting us everyday and the ‘Help Me’ project with RAILS was a major step in that direction.
