Face to Face expands its training program

The Face to Face project is expanding its partnership with JRS and House of Welcome to run a series of speaker training programs targeting people seeking Asylum. The speaker training program will be focusing on building on the expertise of people the speakers and empowering them in building community harmony and increase awareness of and understanding about refugees through Face to Face presentations to schools, community groups and professional development activities .

The purpose of our program Face to Face is to build social cohesion; address negative perceptions and raise public awareness about refugees, their journey and contributions to Australia. In addition the program aims at promoting research, education on social justice, peace and human rights, integrating them deeply into the life of the whole community in Australia.
