What’s the law?

This education kit is provided by Legal Aid NSW, a legal organisation that helps people in NSW. It was published in January 2013.

What’s the Law? is a kit for newly arrived migrants and refugees who are still learning the English language. It has 10 simple stories dealing with the most common legal issues they are likely to experience.

There are student activity sheets to support each story, and teacher answer sheets. You can use these in education sessions with those learning to speak English, as well as in community settings.
