My name is Anwya Oraha Khananya. I was born in Nineveh- Iraq and I arrived in Australia on the 1st of February 2018 as a refugee under the humanitarian program. I have worked as a school principle for over forty years. I am a member in the disability project advisory group established by Foundation House. Soon after arrival, I started attending English classes and I am in level 1.
I have obstructive hip dysplasia. I need special custom shoes. I live with my family and my wife is a full-time carer for our daughter who has a significant disability. My hobbies are exercise, walking, reading, writing (short stories and poem) and fishing
