Greg Hanson is a Law Institute of Victoria Accredited Specialist in immigration law with over 14 years of professional experience practising in refugee/protection and immigration law. Prior to joining Refugee Legal in 2013 he worked for more than eight years as a senior lawyer and legal advisor with the Migration Review Tribunal/Refugee Review Tribunal and Department of Immigration. More recently, he undertook a 12 month deployment with UNHCR to East Africa where he worked in a refugee status determination role deciding sensitive and legally complex caseloads.
