Achieving the goal of 27,000 places in the Humanitarian Program

The global refugee population reached an all-time high in 2024, yet less than 6% of refugees receive resettlement. With the US resettlement program suspended under President Trump, Australia has an opportunity to lead by expanding its Humanitarian Program and unlocking safe complementary migration pathways, offering more refugees the opportunity to rebuild their lives in safety and to contribute to Australia.
