Ethnic Communities Council of Victoria is excited to present to you our forthcoming 2018 State Conference: We’re inviting your organisation to partner with us and attend THE Multicultural Affairs Forum of the Year in Victoria, this May and showcase your vision on inclusion and diversity in the workplace.
ECCV is the Voice of Multicultural Victoria and the peak policy advocacy body representing over 240 ethnic and multicultural organisations across the state. For over 40 years we have been proudly advocating for culturally diverse communities, government and the wider community.
The ECCV 2018 Biennial State wide Conference will lead public discussion to address the issues of unemployment and underemployment of Victorians from culturally diverse backgrounds, with a strong focus on future income earning opportunities to benefit employers, diverse jobseekers, business leaders and future entrepreneurs. It will address pertinent issues around diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

COVERING KEY TOPICS SURROUNDING EMPLOYMENT
Over 2 days, more than 500 delegates and 70 speakers are expected including representatives from our 8 regional and rural Ethnic Communities Councils, metro Melbourne, interstate and overseas. Leading decision makers, academics and practitioners will explore the future of employment in multicultural Victoria.
Panel discussions, presentations and plenary sessions will identify ways of enhancing knowledge and understanding of DIVERSITY and INCLUSION in the workplace.
The aim of the Conference is to explore the impact of differing mindsets about diversity and inclusion across the three sectors; Government, Not-for-Profit and Business & Social Enterprise. We also aim to create ongoing partnerships across the sectors at and beyond the Conference.
