Changing policies and attitudes
Our aim is to change Australia's refugee policies for the better. We want humane and lawful treatment of refugees and people seeking asylum.
We advocate in many different ways. We advocate to governments and politicians, and to international bodies. By informing and connecting people, we also aim to increase the capacity for advocacy. We partner in and lead campaigns, coalitions and networks.
We are proud to be refugee advocates, but we also want to support refugees to advocate for themselves. We connect refugees with opportunities to do their own advocacy, internationally and nationally, so that decisions are no longer made about them, but with and by them.
