Statistics on people seeking asylum in the community

South Australia

The graphs on this page show the nationalities, age, gender and postcodes of people living in South Australia.

As with most other States, they tend to live in a handful of postcodes. You can zoom this map to see where they are living.

Most are from Sri Lanka, Iran, and Afghanistan.

As with the population generally, they are mostly young, with most under 35.

Most of them are male, as in other States.

Join the Movement

We need you to show our government that Australia cares about refugees. Help us by joining the movement so we can protect refugees, not punish them.
